Original Shire Lane

Sarah Rowley – ‘Shire Lane’, an original painting, inspired by my walk to The Three Shires Head in summer. I used a build up of papers to create the texture. A blend of acrylic paint and inks, including metallic inks and powder, finished off with soft pencils and oil pastels, and vola!

Warm golden shades of summer, with a pop of purple heather 🙂
