Ian describes “I have lived and worked in Stoke on Trent all my life. I have been working with clay for the last 28 years or so.

I work from my own studio at Moorland Pottery in Burslem, where the current factory owners have very kindly provided me with an authentic late 19th century garrote-complete with a ghost of a long since expired Saggar Maker for company.”
