Cyanotype Fern Print (freestanding)

Cathey Yardley Design – Unique fern cyanotype print held between two layers of glass in a  wooden frame. Each print is created by arranging carefully selected fresh plants onto a photosensitive background which is then exposed to intense sunlight. After exposure, plant materials are removed leaving their imprint. These ferns were selected from a Staffordshire Moorlands garden and this print was created on a hot August day. The image is permanent but can be refreshed in bright sunlight.
